Cambelt @ 50000 Miles on a 2002 Clio

I had a letter in the post this morning claiming that i need a new cam belt for my Clio Dynamique 1.2 16v....

From Renault it was saying it should be changed at 50000 miles and the cost is £300 + is this true???

in the Manual and the board they keep at the renault garages it says 5years(need to check that)

or 72,000miles (i wudnt leave it till last minute)

unless they have changed it to 50,000m then they are wrong.

Check ur manual and it will tell you about it.

Not sure on the servicing on the non sport models but...

£300 now or £1000 (new engine) + £500+ labour charges.
