Cambelt Change - What else to do?

Car  FF 182 Petrol Blue
Hi, having the cambelt, aux belt, tensioners and depahser done on my 182 this weekend.

Is there anything else you would recommend whilst the car is stripped down?

Spark plugs & HT leads have been suggested.......

It's a great time to chuck a set of cams in for very little extra labour.

Probably still looking at an extra £700-900 depending on cams and who maps it.

another thing overlooked is the thermostat, i had one fail on a renault many years ago and melted the engine

Wouldn't bother with the water pump personally. Its only on the auxiliary set up anyway. Read new ones have failed in the past so replacing is no guarantee anyway. You could go on forever replacing stuff, new rockers, new valves, new cams, new head gasket, new piston rings, new oil pump blah blah blah etc etc....

Upgrade the cams is a good shout although not cheap by the time mappings been included.

All done except cams and waterpump as this is, as suggested just on the aux belt run.... car has had new plugs and ht leads too and is running very well now as a result of all the work -time to enjoy!

P.S. will think about cams at a later date!

Thanks for the comments guys! Cheers.
