Cambelt & Dephaser Tools

Good afternoon all.

Fairly new to this forum but have just purchased a Ph2 Clio 172 as a joint track car as a bit of fun. The car was cheap enough, mainly because it had snapped it's aux belt due to a seized alternator(which we've fixed) but the cambelt and dephaser definitely needs doing, despite there being no noise from the pulley. Anyhow, I'm buggered if I'm going to go out and buy the specialist tools for what will probably be a one off job - so wondered if anyone here is in the Worcester(ish) area who is willing to lend me the gear for a few pennies? Appreciate as I'm a n00b this is probably quite a cheeky ask - but at least I'm a paid member

Thanks buddy - alternatively if anyone on the forum wants rid of theirs I might consider buying them and flogging them on afterwards.

You know it's a total pain in the arse and really easy to f**k up right?
Thats why most people take it to a specialist.

Get the belt on wrong and the best case scenario is you loose 40-50bhp, making your track car a right old pig.
Really f**k it up and it's new engine time.

Thanks for the warning, but I don't take stuff like this lightly and have done plenty of research. Appreciate it's a fiddly engine to work on, but I'm 100% positive I've worked on worse - I just don't have the specific tools to do this job, which was my original question. Just because I'm new to this forum, it doesn't mean I don't have 15 odd years of working on b*stard cars
