There seems to be a different cambelt kit from a certain engine no.
Our ph2 172 02-model built in September-01 needs the later type (according to my dealer). As there is a huge price difference between the two kits (here in Sweden at least) it would be interesting to know the exact difference.
I have been told that the only difference is a new version of one of the tensioners/rollers(??) (Haven't seen the kits yet...)
With this significant price difference it would probably be cheaper to purchase the old kit and buy the 'new part' on the side and throw away the 'old part'...
I don't know if you have the same pricing policy in the U.K. To me it seems strange, prices are roughly £100 and £200 respectively for the two almost identical kits... The the changed part can hardly be £100...
I hope I have got it all wrong...
