I've been trying to do the timing on my F4R, but I get the feeling the belt is too loose :dapprove: - every time I remove the cam locking tools, the cams rotate against each other and the timing goes! - I rotate the cambelt over a few times to distribute the tension as well
got me wondering if perhaps my tensioner is broke.. or if i'm doing it wrong
I'm aligning marks A and B:
should it be A & C?
I tried it on A&C and the belt is a lot tighter and the idle has smoothed out a lot! but obviously don't want to run it like this if its too tight
