Cambelt - what milage should it be changed?

Need changing at 5 years / 72K mate.

As for cost, depends where you take it but its no 5 minute job and so i guess your looking at £400ish

nothing to do with the cambelt, one of the rod bolts sheered off, the rod went through the block into the water jacket (hence all the steam!!)

piston exploded when it hit the head, we found bits of piston ring in the tail pipe!! LOL

I had mine done at 56k, because they do snap. Cost me £350 with some discount at Renault Leicester. Someones 05 reg 182 snapped the cambelt last year
