Camber/caster issue?

  172 Turbo
Just had my 172 cup set up the front camber is -1.59/-0.20 and the caster is 3.16/2.27. The car has new standard shocks with cooksports on F1s rather than turinis. help!

Have a look at the bolt holes on your shock absorbers mate. Measure the distance between the bolt hole and the edge of the flange. Check that they're both the same each side.

It seems to be a bit hit and miss with new dampers as to whether the hub mounting holes are drilled to suit cups or ff 172's. With the cup being a wider front track the mounting holes need to be drilled in different places to accommodate this. Just because you bought cup shocks doesn't automatically mean that you got them in the correct casings. It's definitely worth a check

Failing that, fit camber bolts and adjust them so they're the same both sides.

Regards your castor there's not a lot you can do. Not had any non cup wishbones fitted has it? You could elongate the outer hole in the wishbone where the ball joint bolts on to correct it if your that concerned.

Thanks @NorthloopCup Are non cup wishbones the same length, I've measured up to the ball joint and they are the same length. Is the ball joint hole in another place on noncup bones but the wishbone remains the same piece of metal?

Will check out the struts as they were new Renault items.
