Camber. Road car/odd trackday

Hi all.

Cant be arsed trawling through heaps of threads to try and find and answer.

Ive recently had coilovers fitted to the 172, they are camber adjustable. The mechanic set them roughly but im going to get 4 wheel alignment soon and im just wondering what i should ask for?

What would you suggest for a bit of 'fast road' with the odd trackday?

Thanks.

Stick with standard tbh, not worth extra tyre wear for 1 or 2 track days a year. I went for 2 but I've already done 2 track days the month and have another booked for thur. And it's barely used on the road.

Tyres are AD08s. Does it make a noticable difference to handeling?

I'm running AD08's on mine after runner T1R's chalk and cheese, I'm running 1.5mm neg with a couple of mm toe out and it's plenty, I'm running 16" wheels with 205x50 profile.

Regards Russ.......

Sorry i should of said ive got 195/50/15s on F1s.

Seems to be 1.5 then? How much should i be expecting to pay for a proper setup?

Closest place to me said 54 for tracking etc then camber adjustments will be extra?

I paid £75-00 for mine to be set up by Blink MS, that included adjusting the ride height on all 4 corners, for an extra £15-00 they turned my rear spring locators and adjusters over as well,
This is Bilstein B14 Suspension they also put my weight in the Drivers side to set this up on the Hunter system, they did a great job.

Try kwik fit if they have a hunter machine. £40 by me which gives you full adjustment at front if applicable and a rear readout.
