Camera Stand

What peice of kit (thats not expensive) do you guys recomend i purchase to act as a stand for low down shots?

I have a tripod but it doesnt go low enough for some shots im planning to take of the car. I would normally crouch etc but i want to specialise in some night shots and minimise camera shake.

A small bean bag. Seriously.

Or one of those gorilla pods.

Gorilla pods are great but can be bit of a fiddle to get a level picture...

I'd go with the bean bag idea, you can buy them specifically for cameras too...

My only concern with a bean bag is that your limited to one height the camera is at, as you cant really adjust the bean bag height.
