Can a Mk2 V6 owner do me avery quick favour...Please

I am about to fit a V6 spoiler to my 172 but I need the shorter struts.
Would one of you kind ladies or gentlemen be able to measure your boot srtuts for me at full extension and also the length of the silver piston and black sleeve.
I feel a scrap yard raid coming on LOL.

You may be better off going to Renault and purchasing a new set for the Clio Trophy. I bought a set from a scrappy and after 3 weeks when i opened the boot they would just drop. Ever since then i will only get body work and little bits of dash etc, never mechanical parts.

They're well over £100 a pair from Renault so I guess that's why he wants to get them from a scrap yard.

As Pete said, the Trophy struts are about £60 each from a stealer and the V6 around £135 each or so I have been told.
I can get them from the scrappers for peanuts, if I pay at all.

Can anyone help? It seems there are a few of us that need the help of V6 owners out there.
