can any one tell me what this is ????? HELP

right here is the thing....... driveing along, track control light flash on, felt slight breaking, ok may be normal for ESP, but 2 min later here an kind of clonck or bang from the rear of the car, then traction control light flashes like nuts and can feal grinding and here grindng just resting your foot on break peddel like the abs is fully kicked in or some thing..... and dont not stop affectivey, this could be a contination of the SERVICE and the TRACTION controly light comeing on randomley that the garage cant find the fault to ,oh and the break switch has ment to have been done all ready can and one help, please its starting to get dangerous and worrying !!:dapprove: :dapprove: :dapprove: and if the garage cant find it i will need to find it my self

grinding - have u checked the brake pads ? feel the disc o see if any scrathes on the rear of it. what did the garage check, take it to a renault garage.

they have look at the breaks there new to 10% warn but not checked my self , this is the garage , camdon i got the car from, scratches where ???

You need to get the garage to have ba look sounds like an ABS sensor gone wrong its not that uncommon.

they say there all fine they have even had it on the computer system to try and find the fault witht he SERVICE AND TRACTION control light comin gon , but the fault seems to be intermitent it dose not happen all the time , the werd thig is the previous own of the car has had the same problem , and looks like they did not fix it then either

You need to find out what the code is there must be somehting setting it off.

looked at car this morning and spoted on oh the rear brake pads had come out from where it was ment to be , so the car is now in the garage and they can sort the problem out , im not happy ....

Same happened to me. I haqd a loud bang from the rear of the car which was the whole rear pad flying out through the wheel. Took a right chunk out of the alloy. Rear pads suck, bring on the drums i say

Somehting wrong the serv light comes on when the car has detected a fault and needs to go to a dealer nothing else.
