can anyone give me a rough quote for the following?



after spending £500 getting my car MOT'd and fully serviced today;

i now need the following;

-2 rear tyres
-2 new rear bearings
-o/s rear coil spring broken

can anyone give a rough quote how much this will cost me (not at main dealer)

on a 02 1.2 dynamique?

so fed up, i have spent about £2k fixing my car in the last 18 months, i am so close to just selling up

2 Tyres, £100 fitted,
2 New Bearings £80 plus labour,
Broken spring, £20 off here or £40 new, fit it yourself.

im guessing its a hard job to change the rear bearings?

also what actually is a rear coil spring?
 
You can drive on it without a prob, mines was broken, must likely just the little bit at the end.

As for rear bearings, the old man fitted them for me, so can't be too hard to do.

two tyres are 80-100 quid fitted max
wheels bearings are probally 70-80 quid both fitted
and i dont know about the suspension sorry

I about a set of springs off another member, but he sent me 2 lowered rear springs and 2 standard ones. i'm waiting on the lowered front ones.

if he dont want the standards back i'll happly sell them. £25 a piece posted.?

easy you can have a rear spring off me for free (10min to fit)
rear bearings are £25 per side, £20 to have them put in (if you take the drums off yourself)
rear tyres about £100 the pair

or do what i did

new rear drum £18
new rear wheel bearing kit £17

and fit it yourself piece of cake, i couldnt remove old bearings from old hubs but i managed to fit new bearings in new hubs with abit of persuasion :)
