Was ferreting around the brakes today and cleaned up the coilovers- can anyone tell what they are, and are they adjusted by unscrewing the little screws? (Which are all the way round)

Any help appreciated, only had coilovers with locking rings....

As for adjusting, I believe there's one (or more??) grub screws to be slackened off and then adjust as necessary and tigthen said grub screw/s back up

thanks. havent seen the grub screw tightning myself, and some of them slightly awkward to get at
Still- so long as they work :-)

One of the holes has a grub screw in and then just rotate the collar like normal with a c spanner. Most people leave the grub screw facing forward so it's easy to find

Thanks- thought the grub screws were in all the holes. glad not.
Just waiting a month for my chinese C spanner to get here....

Yeah, theres no grooves on the collar for a C spanner. It just uses man muscle.

I'd use cola to unsieze the threads on the collar if there seized, to make it easier to adjust the ring.

Ah right. Just assumed the C spanner would dig in to the grub screw hole

So you just use the trusy right hand then... or left if you get my drift

I had AP and the holes are for a c spanner. That's how you adjust them.
Thought they might be- will try when i get the spanner
Sure you could put some sort of adjusting tool, like a pair of grip on, to break and seize to deal with
Will try the cola, altho have soaked them in WD40 for a few days, and will do again

looks the same as the rear adjustment on spax rsx and all you get off them is a draper punch which does the job
