tyres would look 2 fat! try sum 195/45 15, there a pretty gud size! and most importantly dont effect the speedo reading too much - wen ure speedo reads 60 ull actually be doin 61.5! it can be a hell of a lot different if u aint careful!!!

According to BenR, some of the more modern agressive tyre designs arent really suited to the Willys handling characteristics. Im sticking to the original tyres until they wear out, but Id consider some in 195/50/15 size as theres a lot of choice and theyre cheap.

As Im sure you know, its best to mod a Williams with caution as every man and his dog wants a mint, original Williams when youre selling. Id also be careful of induction kits as theres still no filter on the market that beats the original air box for constant cool air. Maybe get an uprated element instead?

Probably one of the best mods is a de-cat pipe. That should free up a little extra flexiblity throughout the rev range, although youll have to choose carefully to avoid getting one that doesnt make it sound like a Nova.
