can you repair car tyres?

probably a silly question but ive had a nail or something go through my tyre on the tread bit. can it be repaired? its a brand new bridgestone only done like 1k :dapprove::dapprove:

If its not on the edge of the tyre then yes it will only cost you about a tenner to get fixed.

If the damage is near the edge of the tyre ( i think its 1cm or 1 inch in) then they won't repair it.

No mate all tyre places do it.. All they do is drill through the damage and put a rubber bung thing in.

Don't pay more than £20 MAX though as the average price around here is about £12-15 pounds.

Ive called my tyre guy and he says he can look at it/do it just need a lift down now :D

the tyre place had a look at it and said it was fine to repair so its been repaired. if it wasnt in a a state to repair then they wouldnt have. saved me forking out another £45 to replace a month old tyre

mines like that, done two track days since, you'll be fine.

cue: omggzXZ!!!!1! what if you killed a cat on a road one day...
