Canon 400d lens upgrade???

I am looking to buy a new lens for my 400d and unsure which would be the one to go for?

The style of pics I take are - cars, people, and scenery

I just have the standard 18-55mm lens at the min.

Not looking to spend ££££'s but I know there not cheap

What does the 18-55 not do for you? I'd stick with it, maybe get the IS version.

sigma 10-20mm for cars and landscapes (and a funky view on anything else!).

plus a 50mm f1.8 will get you great pics people (and anything else) due to the nice low depth of field / speed of lens !
