Cant connect to Live with my wireless adaptor

Tried the old unplug re plug b****cks.

How do i find my ip address on this comp for example, can i then use that as the xbox ip manually.

Just set it to automatic, try resetting it up, so search for networks and join yours and enter password again

Yeah it always was auto and it worked fine, but it wont even let me on with my iphone now on wifi.

I've tried doing the manual stuff but its saying it wont recognize my DNS either, so i'll try putting that in auto.

But since i've come back its not letting either xbox or iphone on, do you think some settings have changed somewhere.

I've tried doing it with my Ethernet but that wont work either.

Sounds like DHCP has been turned off in the router. Check that first.

? How do i check it, dont know to much about this stuff, its normally all automatic.

I've looked on the net and gone into my settings, everything like set DNS etc is all still set to automatic. So i'm not sure its that.

Reet think i've narrowed it down.

When its on the Wireless adaptor it says it cant obtain and IP addy.

When its on the ethernet it says it cannot resolve DNS names or xboxlive.com

Haha what was it in the end? I've had so many problems with our wireless I just want to throw the modem on the floor and stamp on it sometimes
