Can't fit new exhaust

My BTB stealth arrived this morning, excellent service! ordered it Wednesday afternoon and it arrived 8:50 am this morning! was well chuffed...

Until I unwrapped it (was very well packaged to be fair) and discovered this:

it looks to me like there is a bit missing from the end of the middle box.

shouldn't it look like this with the flange bit to bolt to the cat?!:

Just want to check that I'm not missing something completely obvious before I ring BTB in the morning

I've fired off an email to Joe at BTB on your behalf. I would imagine (as they won't be making any anymore) this was probably one of the last ones on the shelf and didn't have a flange in case an early single lambda mark 1 came in and needed a different length. Packaging dept. may have sent it out without realising. He'll sort it out.

They will make them on an order basis - you'll have to wait and it won't be anywhere near the old price. Not really their target market to be honest - it's all high end stuff.

More expensive then? I had one fitted to my 172 and it's the best exhaust system I've ever bought. The build quality, fitment and sound were brilliant.

When I was ordering, the lady said that the price was being discussed and would be increasing soon. That's why I ordered when I did tbh

quick update on this...

BTB have been great, I emailed them friday night, they replied this morning, all was sorted and a new centre section is in the post due to arrive with me tomorrow. Excellent service, would recommend to anyone!
