Cant get my decat off. HELP!!

My MOT is on friday. I cant get my decat off to put my cat on. I'v taken the spring loaded nuts off but cant get the decat out of the Exhaust. How do ya take it out, I'v tryed pulling it loads but it just wont budge

I'm gona try WD40 or some thing like that.
And then man up a bit more and tug it

Will help if you try and pull the exhaust to the rear of the car.

Use something to pry it out with too, screwdriver etc?

lol i couldnt get the cat off mine so sprayed some duck oil on it and left it for half hour and then didnt get up lol

it won't do the springs much good but it'd probably have been easier to knock the system off the decat whilst it was still bolted to the mani

Agreed.. Push/Pull the Cat-Back System and pull the Decat towards the Rear of the car and down as remember the Gasket has a Large Lip on it to get clear of.

Thanks for your words of wisdom. It took 3 grown men to eventually get it off. My uncle ended up prizing the exhaust off with a screwdriver spraying penertrating stuff, then hitting the flange of the decat untill it cam off. It really was stuck in so badly.
Decat is a little f**ked but i'm gona get a custom Decat made now.
My emmisions light is still on, fingeres cross it will pass its mot on friday

Make sure the emissions light goes off as a fussy mot tester will fail it for that.
