Capsicum paint correction

Very nice to meet Jonno off of the forum, popped down at ten this morning to have his paint corrected. Have to say, bloody nice colour!! Makes me think that my next car may well be something similar, it does look fantastic when clean!!

No major troubles with this car, although I am certain parts have been resprayed prior to Jon owning the car, as is shown by the state of my once yellow LCC pads!!

Car was suffering from the usual swirl marks, as well as a hell of a lot of tar!!

The car also had a number of larger and deeper marks, some of which had been filled with paint. These were noted and avoided, with the scratches concentrated on to see what sort of correction could be achieved. Using PC with LCC Yellow, IP and FF on Black LCC pad to finish.

This colour, I have to say, was brilliant for 50/50 shots, even with the crappy phone camera!

Your right, that colour is pretty stunning, even better when it's coupled with a 2 litre engine and some recaro's

Really happy with the results Jamie. Happy to see the 50/50 shots and many people loving the colour. The final pictures make the car look stunning as well! Its a bit of a shame its sat out in the rain, but its beading well :)

Once again cheers!

P.S. eddie might want his doing soon :p

nice work jamie. Strange the pads too off some much colour? Clear coat completely removed i guess? how long the whole car take with the PC mate?

The back end looked dull at the back, like it hadn't been lacquered, got to it with the PC and it has been, just left what looks like ingrained red paint dust on it. Some came off with the claying work as well.

Took from 11.30-4.30pm with the PC going flat out.
