i really dont think your argument that the documents didnt arrive within 14days will stand in court...
1. why would they send them out late.?
2. if you do in fact have proof of it being sent out late, what is it?
3. dont go trying to blame it on delayed mail (royal mail) or anything, it wont work.
i'd listen to some of the comments on here, as some of the chaps actually work for insurance companies, you clearly dont.
as for cancelling your policy, i'd fone them up and beg them to UN cancel it if possible (can this be done), just tell them you where stressed or some rubbish like that.
what your saying is, technically that...
if i went out and bought a 50 grand car...after only one months installment of insurance...crashed it and claimed for the cars worth back...no questions asked, no more payments..?
