car jumping out of gear?

Gfs 08 campus keeps jumping out of gear, highest gear its happend is 3rd aprently. she also says its very sluggish and feels like it wants to stall.

I havent witnesed the problems, all from her.

Any ideas?

Clutch has shat itself or is just about to by the sounds of it!

possibly but the more than likely problem is the ball and plunger in the gear box which holds the gear in place until you want to move it.

This is the most probable cause, google 'detents' to get an idea of the fault.

Sounds like gear box oil....had the same problem before mine broke.....

bit of an update, car doesn't jump out of gear, but judders just after changing gear, circa 2k revs.

would this be a clutch issue? cars on 63K and first clutch
