Clio 182 LY + Cup packs

Just gone out to the car, and its not starting.
It turns over for about 5 seconds then stops, it doesnt seem like the battery as it turns the engine fine, it just wont fire.
After trying to start it i noticed the alarm beeped 3 times when I locked the car, could this be a clue as to it being an immobiliser/alarm issue?
If i lock and unlock the car it doesnt beep, only if i have tried to start it.
Any ideas what it could be, I am just waiting for the RAC at the moment.
