Car not starting after 1 month.

  Renault Clio 1.2
Hi there, basically I was using my car daily with no problems at all (1.2 mk2) and Last month I decided to take it off road for a bit due to being a bit strapped for cash at the moment. So I took the battery out of the car and kept it charged for when I was ready to get it back on the road. I have come to want it back on the road and I reinstalled the battery which is fully charged and now my car won't start. It was perfectly fine before I stopped using it. It can't be anything major and I'm just wondering what you guys think it will be. Its turning over rapidly as the battery is completely fine as is the starter motor. So i've ruled those two out. I thought maybe its not getting fuel to the engine so I thought about finding the fuel cut off switch only to realise the mk2 doesn't have one... I'm really confused. There's fuel in the car aswell around 5 litres.

Please help! Thanks.

I'm fairly sure it does as I dropped my inspection lamp on it once and later wondered why it wouldn't start. Unless you meant Ph.2?

Is the immobiliser light doing anything when you're trying to start the car?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to ignition? Its like a faint humming noise for a few seconds

Now I think about it, I don't think it is humming when you turn the key to ignition. That's why I thought about a fuel cut off switch but the ph2 doesn't have one, what will it be?

Yeah sorry I meant ph 2, they don't have one. and the immobiliser is acting normal, goes out when you turn to ignition.

Turn the key to ignition; wait until the dashboard lights go out. Do any unusal ones stay lit?

Hi mate, yeah done that turned key to ignition all the dashboard lights go out as normal, immobilizer goes light goes out as it should too. No unusual lights stay lit. Then when I go to fire it up, its trying to start like mad it just won't quite start the engine?

Maybe you fuel has gone bad? Try changing stuff like plugs and HT leads or just spray everything with WD40. It's always a good idea when keeping a car off the road to start it up once a week or so. Bit late now tho :)

Fuel shud be fine, i started mine up for the 1st time last week in 5 months and apart from a dead batt it was sweet

Try checking your battery water level
