Car pulls to left

When im driving, the steering wheel turns to the left, and so does the car. What is the most possible cause of this. Tracking? Track rod ends? Steering rack?
Wanted to ask you people first before some garage try and rip me off. 96 clio no PAS, 1.2

Tyre pressures, tracking, suffered a mild stroke?

This happened on my old car - turned out to be tracking (it was miles out too)

Sorry to act dumb, but whats mild stroke? The tyre pressures are OK. Ive had this problem for a few months now.

Think it does. If you drive in a straight line, and let go of the steering wheel, it starts drifting left, and wheel turns to the left

hmmmm not the same....

If you hit the brakes with reasonable force from say 30-40mph to stand still does the steering wheel pull to the left quite firmly?

If I let go of my wheel at 30mph it will pull to the left (i.e the curb).

Have you mounted any curbs firmly or hit any pot holes, no matter how insignificant?

I honestly suggest if any of the above... go and get ur tracking done. Its only £30.

Not that i know of, but the cars done 80K so it might have done once in its life. Think ill get the tracking done, hope that improves it.

Cheers cupcake

Most of the time it is just a matter of getting the tracking donw, the more you pay the better the job. You can get it done with lasers if you want a proper job.

if its not tracking could be a bent subframe/wishbone iirc.

quite easy to do hitting kurbs etc

not sure if many people know about this but all cars in the uk pull to the left slightly. its the law. cos if you fall asleep at the wheel you go to the curb instead of oncoming traffic. makes sence if you think abut it

very clever, and almost all roads are angled towards the kerb, ie the middle is the highest part of the road to help water drain away
