Car skipping under load

  260% JCW
Just been on a track day, when cornering hard the car seems to scrub/skip in the opposite direction to which you turn.

Im still adjusting the set up and was wondering if its because i have it to low (its not silly low) or to do with something else. Maybe its me pushing to hard.

Any tips?

more info like what tires you are running etc will help, could be loads of things including just driving too fast ;)

Ive got R888's @ 30psi, FK coilies with -2.0 degrees camber, powerflex bushes, shocks set to fully stiff, ride height wise theres an inch between the wheel and arch.

Any ideas?

  Whichever has fuel
If they're on their hardest setting, there is no movement. Suspension is there to smooth out the road. If yours is rock hard, it will bounce over the tiniest little bumps.

Back it off a bit then, i thought it may have been due to it beeing low and the front shocks running out of travel.

im sure r888 are meant to be running lower pressures than normal road tyres around 26psi irc
