How much do 172 owners pay at the moment and also anyone know if it will go up due to the budget?

£205 I think it is depends on the age of the car ealyier 172's are a lower group I think.

172's are £205 same as 182's, unless your car was registered after 1st March 2006, then its even more!!

i have been told that ph quicks were £96.25 for 6 months and £180 for 12 but i think i read in the budget that it will go up to £190 for 12 months for the ph quicks and £205 for ph 2's

The 172mk1s made in 2000 are £180, 172mk2 and 172mk1 made after march01 are £190 and 182 is £205. These are the current prices.

If a car is made after 23mar 2006 that is a band G then youll be paying £300.

Yeah its the same, cars made before mar2001 that are over 1549cc pay £190 then after mar2001 it goes on emissions.

I must be special. I paid £190 for twelve months on my one eight two sport. Oh and it was registered 21st march 2005.
