Car won't start - Immobiliser troubles?

I'm not clued up on electrics and things but my car won't only the dash lights turn come on, all except the little red dot which I have been told is the immobiliser.

Just wondering what the problem is and if their is any cheap/quick fix solutions to this or will it have to go to a renault garage?

After speaking to a renault garage and have a renault employee look over it they said it was likely I would have to have replaced the whole UCH computer system after a £62 diagnostic.

Had RAC come out to toe it to the garage for me and he found the immobiliser switch had just blown, replaced it, jobs a good'n

Saved a lot of money there
