car wont start

  EK4 SIR CIVIC 185 BHP
ARGH have to type this again because i posted it but net cut off.

basicly came back from holiday, left the car at gatwick airport carpark where u leavae the keys with them and they park it.

came back to my car and it was left in first gear and unlocked wtf?

drove fine all the way to the petrol station 30 miles away, turned it off to top it up and the oil light was on and the immobiliser was flashin erally fast and a tickin noise was coming from the passenger glove box area. turned the car on and it went away, drove home and again same thing happened when i turned it off.

drove a few times and imobiliser was doin that crazy thing each time i turned it off.

today woke up tired to start the car but it would only crank.
jump start dont work, battery fine. push start in 2nd gear dont work, fired up for half a second that was it.

then my mate reset the battery and now the motor doesnt even work. windows dont wind up so its just sitting on my drive looking good for f**k sake.

rant over advice please

Bit odd that since your mate 'reset' the battery now nothing works!!

I'd definately make sure the battery terminals have been done up tight enough!!!

the windows winded up really slow and the hazards kept coming off and on itself

I had the same problem when my headunit drained my battery. Fitted my headunit one day and it was fine, left it over a night and it was starting funny, didn't really think anything of it. Couple of days went by and tried starting it and it was only just turning over!! Had to re-wire my headunit so it turned off when my ignition was off and buy a new battery from Halfrauds :(

Has been fine ever since :)

P.S. I also got those ticking noises from behind/under the glovebox, think it's your immobiliser telling you to piss off lol

Disconnect the battery & stick it on charge overnight mate!

thing is my headunit ( its got a dvd screen ) tells me the volts in the battery and it had 10.3 i think, i usually get 13 - 12 so i think its fine. but now the battery is really low so i dont think it will solve it

I also have a DVD headunit (one with a flip screen) I had to swap the yellow and red wire around as the french have them different to us. This meant my headunit now turns off properley instead of being constantly connected to your battery.

To Try:
- Change the yellow and red wires around at the back of your headunit (If you believe this could be the problem)
- Make sure your your battery is connected properley
- Get a new battery.

Those where the 3 I had to do and it's been fine since. If you need anymore help on the wires I'm not to sure on the electronics, I can only just remember having to change the red and yellow wires around but thats it. It was about 4 months when I had to do mine so my memory is terrible! lol

  Suzuki Ignis Sport
I doubt the LEDs would have affected it that much. They don't use that much power.
