Carbon Canister (pic Included)

What do i do with this pipe? do i just block it or let it vent? I imagine i should leave it to vent as otherwise pressure will build up?

I believe its the link to the tank as it honks of petrol

are you removing the tank?

you need to block 2 pipes off. one goes directly to the fuel tank, or fuel something or other.

Yeah i'v ripped the tank out, what the hells inside it?? I got some in my face whatever it is lol. Umm okay so i should block that pipe off then? iv blocked the other pipe on the plenum.

Yes you'll need to block it off or you'll be venting petrol vapours from the tank into the bay.

thinking about it though doesnt that mean that the tank pressure will just build up if i block it?

in my mates clio, one of the pipes fell into the flywheel and it got cut.
we tried to replace it with a smaller pipe and it started to conk out and run very lumpy.
so we brought a new pipe and it was fine.
