Carbon Canister Removal - Guide?

  Golf 7.5R & Clio 200
Hi

I want to remove my carbon canister. Have read a lot on here about 23ohm resistors, plugging pipes into each other etc. But everyone seems so unsure/guess work in the threads.

Has anyone done this, and can offer advice on how best to do it?

Thanks
Ryan

More space to put a cold air feed in from memory

I thought the carbon canister was behind the drivers headlight?

I know it stops the ticking noise it makes when removed but im not sure what the other benefits are apart from a slight weight saving.

Removing the acoustic valve gives a little more space to fit a cold air feed if you want to feed one low down.
