Carbon fibre bits LOOK!!!

I have found a company who specialise in carbon fibre and currently has the capability to make the following items for the clio!

Carbon fibre bonnet (with or without badge recess)
Carbon fibre bonnet with badboy headlamp eyebrows (with or without badge recess)
Carbon roof skin complete
Carbon bootlid smoothed

He has said with the time and demand he would be prepared to make any parts we wish. I currently have one of the bonnets and roof and the carbon quality is very good.

I was tempted to have a carbon/kevlar heatshield designed and made up. as there seems to be a demand for them?

Would anyone be interested in maybe sorting out a group buy on some bits and we can try and get some discount?

what models will they make them for? i.e. mk1, 2, a rough estimate of prices would also be good to give people an idea what they are getting into i.e. 10 people for carbon bonnet, mk2 phase 2 = £200, 20 people = £180 etc... i think you will find a better response if you put something like that? i know its difficult but i doubt people on here will hold you to the penny if you are giving a rough estimate

i'll try and get some pics and also prices. he makes carbon for MK1, MK2 and 3 so should have quite a list! as everything is hand built then there will be a deposit required.

Just an idea, but I think that would look quite trick with a polished engine!!!

Because the demand will be small i will guess prices will be sky high like £1000
for the tailgate and £250 for door mirrors.

if you could get prices for door cards, parcel shelf, roof lining, tailgate, front and rear bumpers(172 mk2), rub strips and badges, upper grill and slam panel for mk2s please, also if you could get a price on rs style sideskirts too and front wings.

i could be completely wrong here, but dont the skins sit over the current body panel?

if so, the weight you save from the full carbon bonnet, will be added back with the boot and roof skins?

why not get an aluminium bonnet if your after weight saving? lighter than carbon.

fubar - ideally i want a full carbon bonnet, or a carbot skin, with fibre glass subframe. No metal, so as light as possible.

As for the roof and boot, yes its just a skin, but wouldnt weigh much, but more improtantly would look PIMP!
