carbon simota airbox

Hi all, when i bought my 182 its was fittered with a carbon simota airbox. All i can find out about it is that its bloody expensive. If anyone has got one could you leave me a bit of info on it and is it the best airbox on the market? or would i be better off changing it??

Im looking into getting a new airbox. Where did you find it for £160 mate?

I got one fitted to my 172 but don't know if its the same airbox. Only cost me £100! My car is at Rentech if you wanted a look. Will be there until the end of the week.

At a guess... the version you've seen for cheaper is different to the bell shaped one he's got fitted. Theres two you can get.

Only criticism ive heard is that it could suck in hot air from the radiator, but really doubt its much different to other inducton systems out there.

i used to have this one. best thing about it is that i SOLD IT..
Sound was awesome, lost bigtime power though
