Here are a few more Clio-themed photos I took at the recent PCAD at Castle Combe. For those Clio-owners who might have seen me about in the Trophy I apologise for steering clear but I was/am full of cold!

That blue phase 1 with orange wheels did start the day out mint, then i saw it come back on a flat bed.... then back out again!! Whoops. He was giving it some beans though...


Anyone hear the white Corsa B that sounded like a jet plane!? Got black flagged for being too noisey on track.... Good mate of mine that, awesome build

that corsa was loud must of been ok at the noise test at a certain RPM

Ha! Yes the Corsa was perfectly fine in the noise test. Was touch and go whether he would get pulled up on the go round. Can see why he did, you could hear him all the way round! 260bhp of sleeper though

What the hell had he done to it? could hear that when it was the opposite side of the circuit!

Its a 2050cc turbo engine rebuild.... with a 2" pipe. Soon to be changed!! Got black flagged seconds before passing the Megane :clown:

Haha yeah saw him get black flagged within 2laps! wasn;t surprising mind was redicously loud..

Did notice the LET engine when he was queing to go out.. what exhaust is it just a staight through?

I'm pretty sure it's a straight through custom jobby. Shame really, but atleast he got a full refund on the 2 sessions he wasn't allowed out on

It was great to see a good selection of Clio's out on track. And yes, that Corsa was mental!!! I could hear it pretty much for the whole of the lap...

Ahh yes the 260bhp corsa!! I was behind him in the pit lane on the second session i went out. I thought to myself, i'll just put my foot down and i'll be past him no probs. Little did i know of the beast he had under that bonnet lol. Great sleeper car. I did then see him get black flagged in the distance and pull into the pits.

Some good pictures there. Some nice ones of my car on the track there so thanks!!

Did you meet up with a few of your friends in Chippenham before making your way to the track? If so, I don't want you to think I was being rude by blanking you guys... I was looking to jump out my car and say "hello" but I'm full of this stinking cold and didn't want to spread it! If it wasn't you then ignore my ramblings. LOL!

Ah, right - cheers. It would likely have been SaraJ et al that I saw. Either way, it was good to see you (either on track or at Morrisons!) LOL!
