Catalytic converter

okay, so my catalytic converter has broken down inside and is making a god damn awful noise and dont have £200 in my pocket for a new one right now, so anyone know any ways to kinda temp it? just for a week or so

that and my back is well and truely F**kD, slipped disc and sciatica, couldnt bare the drive

well i would but as my cat in an awkward place then im still looking at big money to get that done, where as i can get a cat fairly cheap and do it myself
