CD Player Not Working after code!?

Hi, I just bought a clio 1.4 dynamique, but the cd player wasn't working due to no cd code. So I took it to a local garage and obtained a cd code, so now the radio works perfectly, but the cd player itself still wont accept cd's?! does anyone know why? and/or what I should do, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Did you solve this? I have had the battery out of my 182 for 3 or 4 months. After I entered the code the radio worked fine but the CD player just gives me a few beeps when I insert a disc and then spits it out.
