Chamois care

  Megane 225+
How should I care for my Meguiars chamois.
Wash out after use? clean water/soapy water?
Do I let it dry naturally or ring it out?
store it flat/wet/sealed in container?

Also the size is quite difficult to handle - worth cutting in half? or is the size really to my advantage?

I like to look after it & do the right thing

cheers

I just rung mine out and dumped it in a bucket, worked fine.

Hate to say it but the water magnet is soooooooooooo much better
I never use the chamois at all now.
Needed to be really quick with the chamois to stop water marks forming,
but with the water magnet it takes a lot less time and i get no water marks at all.

Not used a real chamois for years now, still use the Autoglym fake ones on wheels amd arches, as wheel as under the bonnet etc.

Treat them the same as I did for real ones when it comes to cleaning when grubby just wash in some car shampoo rinse and hang up to dry.

The fake ones I stick back the plastic tubs. If it really is to big to use I would cut it in half.
