Changed alternator now belt screeching help please

So changed my alternator as it failed followed the guides and very please with myself.
But
Started it up and now the belt screeches loudly, if I press in the alternator it change tone but donee not go away. If I give it a little Rev it does though but comes straight back.
Can anyway help rather cross now and worried I have caused more issues, it looks ok.

It’s ok I have solved the problem it was not the belt it was coming from the top manifold. I had removed it and when replaced torqued the bolts but it seems to have settled and they were not tight enough but once tightened high pitched squeal went
