Changed my tyres and nearly spun out!!

I have PE2s all round .

Before changing the fronts were on limit and rears were like new!

So I got the rears put on front and had some part worn ones, 5mmish on back.

Got out of kwikfit, quarter mile down road and the back end goes as I go round a sharp corner!! Thank f**k I wasnt going very fast. The car totally lost it.

Before all i had was loads of understeer, with the s**t tyres on front, now its back end happy!

What the f**k has happened!

the newer tyres should be on the rear.

let em bed in 2 they may be part worn but not on ur motor and they would have been stone cold when fitted!

It feels like back end is on ice! It is getting better though, as I tested it on a few roundabouts.

Strange - whenever i've had tyres fitted to any of my cars I've never suffered the same problem.

bought them off here from evogone. £30 a piece. Do you want my old ones they're right on the limiter, and I prefered them to the setup i have know tbh.

also with new tyres you really ought to give them 100 miles or so to 'bed in' when they are new they have a coating on the rubber which wears off.

send me an offer, obviously dont want more than £30 each though, as I paid that for the part worn ones. I can probably get them fitted as well for a tenner, as my mate works at kwik fit.
