Changed seats in cup - pretensioner help

hi guys

ok, i changed my cup seats a few years ago for leather one, never wired them up, now i have put some recaros in, with the old pre-tensioners, so i have just wired up the wires as normal, but serv and airbag symbol won't go away !!, does it need to reset - like after driving for 30 mins or something ?

passenger side just has the wires to pre-tensioner, so i just wired them up, would it matter if the wires were the wrong way around, as mine are liek orange and brown in car, and blue and brown on pre-tensioner ? so i did brown to brown and orange to blue.

driver side - a bit different their was a wire with a microswitch on it, so i just cut that and soldered the wired together. next there are 2 wires going to the seatbelt clip and 2 wires to pretensioners,

my cup clip for drivers side has the 6 wires, and i wired them to where i think they go, but no luck. has anyone done this and can send me pics ? of how to fix this :dapprove:

Could the problem just be cos they havne't been wired up for years ? :dapprove:

that don't fix the serv light, and i want it fixed properly

hum, sounds like you have a wiring issue, its a bit similar to putting a 172 interior into a 1.2

the dealer charged me £35 to turn off my airbag light after fitting new seats

mmm, thanks fred, i will go buy some resistors today and try them, see if the lights go off, if then do an elimination process of location the faulty wire, was thinking it could be the wire that pushes down into the pretensioner, i'll ty bending the pins a bit

NO other help then, thanks................ if i paid my £5 to be a member would i get help. went and brought some 3.3ohm resitors to try

yeah, the thing is so many people are asking the same question, and so many people say the same things & stoopid things like take the bulb out. i like edde's guide, need detailed pics of all the different types of connectors for the clio's and how to wire them up. simple, yes ? no ? well after i sort these out i will post my results
