Changing brake fluid.



  Corsa Van. Meh.
Probably a stupid question, but is it the same process for changing the fluid completely as it is for when you are just bleeding the brakes?

I will be using ATE super blue so should be obvious once the new stuff is in.

Yes, although if the master cylinder is very full you can suck some fluid out (not too much mind) and replace with new to save time.

Mine took a litre off ATE Blue to completely clean the old fluid out. As the above post says try and empty the Master cylinder first using some sort of sqeezy bottle with a tube attached. Start at the furthest bleed nipple away from the master cylinder ending up with the nearest and if you have some fluid left over go round again, to be sure, to be sure.
