Changing brake pads

Mates changing pads, do you need a special copper paste on the back to stop them vibrating or this not necessary?

If it is, where can you get it from/how much?

i applied some to mine after changing them but squealing has started about 5 weeks later. did i not put enough on?

i suggest to just put a sh*t load on

If yours has started to squeak again i would say there is something else wrong, are discs in good condition?

Dont put s**t loads on you only need a small spread.

make sure you give the caliper and pad carrier rail thing a good going over with a wire brush and get all the excess caked on brake dust. I always clean everything the pads touch including the silver metals shims that sit in between the edges of the pads and the caliper rail thing.
