Changing Coolant 172

  clio sport 172
Hi all, I've decided to drain my cooling system
and refill it with fresh anti freeze and water and
wanted to know a couple of things. Does the rad
have a drain plug? Or is it easier taking the bottom
hose off, I'm also changing the top up bottle on the
bulkhead. When it comes to refilling the system is
it a case of just refilling or are there any bleed
screws?Thanks in advance.

Use the Renault type D coolent its from Renault at £20 for £5 GSF sell it a bit cheaper form memory its the only stuff I'd ever use.

Don't just use water and antifreeze.

Just pull the bottom rad hose off its the easest way the bleed nipples on the block above the gearbox as such where the pipe comes out.

Thanks for all your help and
advice. Job done just waiting
for the level to settle after a
quick blat up the road. I took
your suggestions and used type
D coolant so I've now got fresh
aliens blood running through my
cooling system.
