Front fogs are practically useless in this country and I fancy swapping the units for driving lamps (a la 205 GTi) and wiring them in to the main beam switch.
i don't think that auxilliary lamps are testable (?) so that, hopefully, wouldn't be an issue
i was wondering what lamp units might fit and how to go about rewiring the stalk. i did think about splicing into the h'lamp wiring but think it'd be best to attempt to do it properly at the switch. i'm no autoelectrician (!) and am wondering what might need doing about relays and fuses etc - ? would any of the wiring need beefing up?
Dunno what the looms like under there but id imagine feeding the front fog switch by the full beam one would be straight forward. This way they can be isolated, or when in 'on' position, auto come on with full beam. No relays or fuses would need altering/adding.
could you put fogs in and then take the 2 wires from the back of the fogs and give them contact with the full beam wire so that when you flash your full beams they come on 2??
