Changing of coil pack

My car's been misfiring lately and it seems as thought the coil pack may be on it's last legs. Some say it might be a good idea to get the HT leads changed at the same time, but i gather they're quite costly.
Are my leads likely to be messed up and is it really neccessary to change the them as well or is that just wasting cash?

How intemitant is the missing? No point replacing things that work fine. If its every so often I suspect its the coilpack

It's very bad now. Car is undrievable tbh.
