Changing oil for dummies

I like to look after my car best i can, i have never attempted to change the oil before so help would be good!

So how do you change it?

Is it a good idea to change the oil every 5k?

Thanks!

Easiest and cheapest way is to book it in at ur local Nationals.

Had mine done yesterday, cos £15 for the filter and semi-synthetic oil. Cars running loads better now and they done a good job.

Much cleaner than doing it urself :)

HTH

Do they do this at the 12k service or do they just top up as required??

Also, what oil do people use in the Cup??

Thanks...

Really? Haha! I dunno whered Id be without National!

Well, I do.. under my car, covered in oil.. ;)

Cheers for that Chavy!

hmm, seems like theres alot of work involved!

If i took it to renault for it would they charge a fortune?

No dont worry the hardest bit is undoing the oil filter then it is plain sailing. Will take about 1 hour max to do if you are following the guide.
