changing phase 2 valver steering wheel

looks boring doesnt it...is it an easy job to change and fit another ?



and could the original be fitted back after ?

easy as mate, pull of the centre bit where the badge is & there are allen screws undo those & it comes off, if you fit an after market one (momo etc) i think you will need a boss for it.

also the standard bus size one will fit back on after no probs.

Shouldnt you worry about teh airbag before starting such a manouvre. Check Haynes Manual. Think you need to disconnect battery for a while before proceeding.

Some didnt have an airbag, but yea.. if its got an airbag, Id check the Haynes.. heh.

mine does have an airbag, the wheel looks crap hence why i want to change it for a phase 1 or aftermarket job

sposed to have a certificate to be able to even handle airbags ya know
