Probably safer if you get an aftermarket wheel and bucket seat/harnesses. Hold you in nice and tight.
i hate the clio wheel... its a pain to turn when you have big wheels.. argh
I would def change the steering wheel to an aftermarket one but before I do that im going to get a set of buckets and harness first because when I wrote off my type R at 120mph my buckets and my harness saved my life as my face didn't even touch the airbag when it came out...

Pus you'd be suprised how good stock stuff realy is. Not hitting the airbags means nothing
Different cars etc though. Air bags arn't there to injour you (after all why do you think they fit them there expensive etc) there a safety reature not having them IMO stupid unless you have some realy good alternative and not just harness.They only work if there correctly installed have a read here

It does to me because my pal crashed his bmw in to a wall and when the airbag cracked me across the face it cut my face open luckily there was no scaring on my pretty face![]()
