changing sub boxes

i have a jbl subwoofer in a 12" box

would it be ok in a smaller box... and can anyone recommend were to get one cheap

If you have a 12" subwoofer then it will only fit into a 12" sub box unless you build your own but it will affect the sound output.

There should be a recommended range of volumes on the box. Work out what the minimum dimensions are
