Changing the Airbag to non airbag..

Has anyone done the above..

How did you dsconect the airbag.. is it just a plug/conector..?

I take t that once the wheel is removed a seperate boss is required (although not always the case with all cars) to mount the new wheel.. eg. MOMO fitting..

ive swapped loads of s wheels before but never with an airbag involved..

any help appreciated..

You might find that the other air bags wont work with it disconnected and the light on your dash will be permenantly on.

It is just a plug to remove it.

yeah.. i did hear that the passenger side wont work.. and light may stay on..

apparently it has to be isolated as well.. otheriwse it may go off..

if the light is on its an MOT fail. I read somewhere on here that you have to wire a resistor to the airbag wire or something. To trick the car into thinking the air bag is there? Not 100%

4.7 ohms resister in the wiring fixed the light.

I think its 4.7 anyway.

Ask Fred he done it on his i think it is 4.7 ^^^ but search for it as he did post up once
